This feels like it has been the longest winter known to man. Snow. Snow. And more Snow. I have been stuck inside, trying to keep positive and keep the boys entertained throughout the day. It has been difficult though, not going to lie. Some days I just want to go hide upstairs in my room with a book and let the boys play destroy the playroom. On those days, I just pray for strength and know that the boys are feeling the same way.
We celebrated Cameron's 1st birthday with family, spaghetti, vanilla cupcakes and a long weekend. He is such a sweet boy, with a perfect disposition that brings a smile to everyone's face that is around him. He is not far from walking fully on his own. Lately he has been taking steps from the coffee table to the couch without falling, so I am expecting him to take off any day now; chasing Gavin around the house!
Spring is hopefully around the corner and we can't wait to welcome it with open arms and walks to the park, building a fence, maybe FINALLY planting a small garden and spending our days out in the warm sunshine. Until then, we are taking day trips on the weekends, sprucing up and cleaning our house and playing a lot of Dan Gibson's beautiful music with spring sounds in the background to trick us into thinking that the windows are open on a spring day.
